Effective leadership and governance programme

From our combined experiences working in governance and leadership spaces, we have observed that the strength of the shared leadership approach developed by organisational Chairs and Chief Executives is a key factor in the success of their Boards. We explored this concept further with a range of Chairs and CEOs and confirmed that there was a need for focused support to strengthen shared leadership arrangements.

During February – August 2025 we successfuly designed and delivered a four session programme to the Chairs and CEOs of four organisations that;

Identified and addressed specific organisational needs;

Utlised the Community Governance Aotearoa “Good Governance Code”;

Enabled conversations and deeper dives into how to strengthen shared leadership arrangements and governance practices, and how to navigate shared responsibilities;

Provided opportunities for learning and reflection; and

Addressed the leadership needs of the organisations, the individual Chairs and the individual CEOs
